Date: of Challenge: Tuesday April 23rd 2024 @ 2000Z or 8:00PM MST.

An open challenge to those wanting to explore a little more about the Basics of Ham Radio; What Frequency am I tuned & listening to ??? ... Is my radio knob and digital display correct and in sync with the universe?
What am I talking about? Well ...
ARRL FMT Contest or Frequency Measurement Test is 0300Z on Wednesday April 24th, 2024.
Hint #1: The second challenge for any Arizona Ham to Master is .... "What time is it? .... note the time is "Z" or "GMT" and ... that makes 2000 MST in Arizona? Is it still Wednesday? Let's go with Arizona is a bit behind GMT by ... 7 hours. So, your getting the drift, we count backwards or counter clockwise on your Mickey Mouse clock with hands ... and that makes it .... yep Tuesday 8PM MST. Hope everyone agrees to either be top or bottom on the challenge list.
Paul says he will take on "all" challenges ... and be within 0.00047 Hertz !!!!
To get you started, Paul has put together a presentation to give you some tips & pointers...
Hint #2 ... start now maybe sortof ... and as Paul suggested ... find someone to participate with ... it's more fun and maybe more competitive.
For your casual reading of MARCA participation in past FMT activities check out W7MOT.org >> Library >> Articles Library >> Activities >> FMT ....
And .... W7MOT.org >> Library >> Files Library >> Presentations to see in NON alphabetical order some interesting FMT presentations and other interesting stuff..
There are many methods to measure a frequency, pick one and master it. Next FMT, try another method and master it. Continue repeating if you find this fun or until you're bored being in the green square...
