This map displays Arizona Dstar repeater locations. There's a "marker" for each site. Not all DStar sites have the a full stack or set of repeaters. Detailed information in the bubble and lightboxs will includes more detailed information about the site name, specific repeaters, and site administrator.
Initial view of the map is "Hybird". It can be changed to Terrain to better identify topology or to "Earth" for 3D viewing and flight controls which gives a more deminsional view.
All views can be "zoomed in" see details. Some of the sites will display limited detail due to Google considering the location of little interest or sensitive.
Rolling the mouse cursor over the list names to the left of map will popup a "bubble" at the respective map location.
There is a "get directions" area below. It's close to the standard Google "get directions" feature with some custom modifications. Note, there is a drop down for "From" that lists all the sites.
There is one site named "Start Here" which is one of our typical work party starting point. Select "Start Here" from the list. The "To" also has a drop down list containing all the sites. Select the site you wish to travel to. Click on the "Go" button. Google will then list driving directions and mileage. Fun.
Clicking on a site "Marker" will open a "lightbox" with more information about the DStar system and site. The amount of detail depends on availability of information. Notice in the "lightbox" two icons, one is a "globe" the other is a "printer". Click on the "globe" and a second larger "lightbox" opens showing only this location. You can use the map controls to zoom in for more site map details. Clicking on the "printer" icon will print the "lightbox" information and map.
