MARCA Garage Sale is now a feature.

Hopefully the name is self explanatory and everyone catches on quickly. I've added a Menu Item called "MARCA Garage Sale" that anyone can click on to see what's for sale by the club and members. And Yes, anyone can view our Garage Sale. I would like to invite the General Public to view our "Classifieds". More focused would be Amateur Radio Hams directly or indirectly via links on other Amateur Club Websites.

Only a MARCA member can create and post an Item. And the posting is immediate. To create an ad you must be a member and logged in. There are two ways to create the ad, 1st is click on "MARCA Garage Sale" where you will see a line of selectable links; new ad, all ads, my profile, my ads, rules. click on "new ad" and fill in the blanks. The 2nd way is after logging in is to go to >>My Profile , click on the tab "My Ads", there is a line of links; new ad, all ads, rules. Click on "new ad" and fill in the blanks.  I think the fields are somewhat clear. I'm not sure if all the fields are necessary or if different fields should be included. You will have to let me know.

I would like to ask you all to take the time to create a "test" or "real" ad. Go through the process. Try adding a picture of the item. Add some details in the description of the item. Then, try making a bid, see if the owner receives an email. Try making a bid on someone else's item.

I have done a nasty thing and posted a poll about this feature so I can collect some information. Take the time to do the poll. You can take the poll multiple times. Why, because as you play and think about it, there will be different times you want to register your thoughts. The public is also welcome to take this poll and give feedback.
